USEPA Stage 2 Disinfectants & Disinfection Byproducts Rule (DBPR)
Stage 2 DBPR is extension of Stage 1 rule and addresses higher risk public water systems. All Systems serving less than 10,000 people must submit a 40/30 waiver or submit a Initial Distribution System Evaluation (IDSE) monitoring plan by April 1, 2008. If you have not completed a 40/30 Waiver, or have not submitted an Initial Distribution System Evaluation (IDSE) monitoring plan, the New Jersey Water Association can help produce these at no charge. Schedule 4 (<10,000 people) April 1, 2008 40/30 Waiver or Submit IDSE monitoring plan March 31, 2010 Complete IDSE July 1, 2010 Submit IDSE report October 1, 2013 Begin Stage 2 compliance monitoring Call Dave @ 609-242-7111 to schedule an appointment

Consumer Confidence Reports (CCRs) Thanks to the legislative efforts and the members of the New Jersey Water Association (NJWA), we are once again, able to provide Consumer Confidence Report services free of charge to systems serving populations under 10,000.
• All community water systems are required to mail [mailing is part of NJ requirements] a CCR to their customers and to BSDW by July 1, 2008.
• Certification due to BSDW by October 1 of each year.
