A historical look at the Water/Wastewater business throughout history. Aspects include water treatment technologies, storage, distribution, and wastewater collections and treatment. This information is correlated with how these technologies are used today. This is a great class to inform boards, councils and the public about the importance of your utility’s responsibilities.
Instructor: Don Van Veldhuizen, USA Bluebook – Senior Technical Support Representative / Technical Training Manager. Don has been in the Water/ Wastewater field for 30 years in various roles including operations, management, consulting and research. He advises and provides training for numerous water and wastewater systems throughout the United States and overseas. Holding certifications in both water and wastewater, he instructs from an operational stand point using a variety of instructional tools to encourage class participation, including hands-on applications where appropriate. Don is a certified Environmental Trainer (CET) with the National Environmental Training Association (NETA)
