Course Description:

In this session, users will gain valuable information in two critical areas; improving water quality and controlling the pipe network to reduce the consequences of failure. Today utilities operate in an environment where pipe failure rates and turbidity problems are increasing more rapidly than their pipeline replacement budget. In this session, utility personnel will learn how to apply a simple key performance indicator to identify where the consequences of pipeline failures can be dramatically reduced. They will learn how to quantify the impact of their actions in real dollars. They will also learn how to implement unidirectional flushing in a manner which creates longer lasting results. Join us as we explore these bottom line operational issues.
