Course Description:
Automatic control valves provide many common functions in water and wastewater systems. Some of the applications are familiar, and some are less common. In an era where cost reduction is a high priority, increases in the specifications and use of automated control valves will continue. Course participants will learn how to appropriately apply automated control valves to their processes, to select valves, and to operate and maintain them in the most efficient manner.

This course will help participants to properly and economically sample and test their water and wastewater. Course instruction will enhance the participants’ ability to monitor their water and wastewater water for process control, quality assurance and regulatory compliance purposes. Sample analytical reports will be reviewed to enhance understanding of the meaning of laboratory results.
