Course Description:

Effective operation of drinking water and wastewater systems can be challenging. It is sometimes difficult to balance the completion of routine tasks with unplanned/emergency situations, and planning for future needs and changes.
This course is designed for all water and wastewater operations professionals. The course will review water and wastewater sampling and data collection, both for effective operation and maintenance, and for compliance. The importance and basic chemistry of various treatment methods to maintain drinking water and wastewater quality will be discussed. Asset management will be discussed within the context of good operational practices.
