Turn on the faucet and out pours clean, safe drinking water. Many of us do not realize the process and measures that our towns go through to make sure this is possible today, tomorrow and in the future.
The state of New Jersey has some of the most strigent water quality standards in the nation. We are a resource that operators can turn to and get the information they need. The New Jersey Water Association helps by providing technical assitance and training to employees and staff of water and wastewater utilities. The NJWATER staff can also help with Consumer Confidence Reporting (CCR) writting, leak detection and line location with the use of our on equipment.

With SRF (State Revolving Fund) assistance for small systems they can work with NJWATER"s Small Systems Specialist to troubleshoot and answer technical questions related to water treatment and techniques. Used in conjunction with NJDEP, Engineers and consultants to help small systems meet the challenges of compliance and aging infrastruture demands.
The Onsite Assistance section enables water and wastewater professionals to recieve technical training related to the important functions each of them play throughout a municipality.  Provided to them at no-cost to them or their utility.

Rural Development helps systems focus on day to day issues that arise from aging infrustruture. From leak detection with hydrophones to pipe location with the latest developments in Ground Penetrating Radar. These services are available on a first come first serve basis with no-cost to the utility.
