The purpose of this program is to protect New Jersey"s investment in small municipal water systems by providing on-site technical assistance that assures cost-effective operations and adequate income for both operations and debt service throughout the state.The New Jersey Water Association provides assistance to water systems throughout New Jersey.
The Circuit Rider Technical Assistance Program provides on-site assistance to New Jersey water systems This assistance is provided by NJWATER Water Circuit Riders who assist systems in all areas of management, operations, and maintenance. NJWATER currently has two water Circuit Riders who assist municipal water system managers and operators in the Garden State. Each circuit rider is required to hold water and/or wastewater collection licenses and keep these licenses current to NJDEP standards.
These technical advisors have access to some advanced equipment that can be brought on-site for a water systems to utilize*. Line locators, leak detection, and many other items that your system may need only once or twice a year. Please contact our office or Lester directly for more information about these services.
