 The New Jersey Water Association with guidance from New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and National Rural Water Association (NRWA) are please to offer Source Water and Groundwater technical assistance and information for community water systems and the public. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) is introducing the Source Water Assessment Program (SWAP). With the advent of this program each public community water systems will incorporate the following steps:At New Jersey Water Association we have two specific programs that focus on "Protecting the Source" The Wellhead Protection Program has a specific focus on working with individual water systems. This program works with individual systems to tailor a Wellhead Protection Program unique to their situation.
