NJWA has an extensive training program of half-day and one-day sessions. Seminars are conducted at locations throughout New Jersey for the convenience of participants. Seminars are performance based.     Description

    Course Description:
    New Jersey’s currently established Water Allocation Permitting process empowers water utilities throughout the state, with support from regulatory agencies, to be stewards for the public and health safety of our water resources. However, aging infrastructure is inhibiting the efficiency and accountability of this resource by producing a high volume of non-revenue water, with unreported leaks being by far the largest of the categories. The AWWA M36 Water Audits and Loss Control Programs provides water utilities with the Best Management Practice tools and guidance to address this issue.

    Course Description:
    Discussion of pipeline asset management SIPP and pipeline maintenance that meets WQAA standards. Specifically, rehabilitation of water mains and potable pipelines using SIPP (Spray-In-Place-Pipe) technology. Discussions of tank asset management and maintaining all assets from the water treatment plant, distribution system (specifically water storage tanks and reservoirs), and the way to the wastewater plant.

    Vacuum systems are utilized for a lot of applications in industrial, building and municipal environments, particularly in the conveyance of wastewater. This session will focus specifically on municipal vacuum systems. Furthermore, it will highlight the design and construction of such a system. Municipal sewer projects in NJ will also be discussed among others nationwide.
