Course Objective:
This course is designed to train utility professionals to effectively and safely perform and supervise excavation activities under various types of working conditions. Participants will be provided with the information and resources necessary to recognize and assess hazards commonly encountered at excavation sites. Working environment, safety equipment and procedures, and emergency response planning will be given particular emphasis.
