Valves are a crucial asset to maintain control over any water or wastewater system. Properly functioning valves are critical to a utility’s operation. This course will provide in-depth instruction of all aspects of the system’s various valves including styles, operation, issues, maintenance and installation. In addition, services literally connect utilities to their customers. This course will provide an overview of the most common pipe tapping methods, procedures, equipment and pipeline considerations. It will also provide an in depth coverage of the common service materials.
