Sustainable Water and Wastewater Utility Management Workshop

Through a brief self-assessment of their operations in relation to the management areas participants will management improvement opportunities. Participants can share experiences from their systems to better understand how to implement improvements and have a basis for working with staff and community members to operate more effectively.

NJDEP Licensed Operator Program Stakeholder Session

June 6, 2019, 9:00 a.m. – Noon Hightstown

Description
The Department of Environmental Protection is holding an external stakeholder session for its Operator Certification program, governed by the Licensing of Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment System Operators regulations, N.J.A.C. 7:10A.

Presentations by NJDEP staff will outline current responsibilities of NJ Water and Wastewater operators and identify program improvements that clarify roles and responsibilities and improve existing processes. This session will provide opportunities for participants to ask questions and provide comments to NJDEP staff regarding the future of the Water and Wastewater Operator Certification Program.

This is a Stakeholder Session, not Certified Training.
