West Deptford Township is seeking a qualified Water and Sewer Operator. The successful candidate will operate and maintain the water treatment facilities, sewer pumping stations, and the water distribution and the sewage collection systems according to established procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.

Supervision of 7 Water and Sewer Repairmen, 2 Billing Clerks, and 1 Secretary. Duties to include required reporting, billing, meter reading, all activities involved in the operation, maintenance, and repair of water and sewer systems, correspondence, and communication with the public. Population 22,000, 7,000 services, 6 wells, 3 tanks, and 24 sewer pumping stations.

At least a high school diploma is required, preferably a college degree. Valid driver's license, good driving record, and commercial driver's license preferred. The candidate must possess at least T-1, W-3, and C-3 licenses. At least 10 years experience in utility operation.
